Company History
The employees of TRIBE have worked together as a clinical operations unit for 4 years. In the early part of 2008 our former company entered into a merger agreement with one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the world. With the merger expected to take several months, our team was tasked with initiating a Phase 3, multi-study program in addition to maintaining the numerous other studies our company had ongoing at the time. The purchasing company was impressed with our past work but even more impressed with our progress and continued enthusiasm on the new Phase 3 program. So impressed that they requested we form a company in order to continue our effort on their pivotal program and thus TRIBE Clinical Development Inc. was founded.
Our Name
Headquartered in Houston, TX, many of the company's fundamentals were established as Hurricane IKE pounded the Houston area Gulf Coast. With the electricity out in the Houston area for the better part of two weeks, several of the founding members of TRIBE were scattered about seeking refuge in unaffected cities. It was during this “downtime” that the name TRIBE Clinical Development Inc. was created.
In choosing a company name, consideration was given to the fact that success for our clients would depend on how successful we were as a team. In turn, the success of our team would be dependent on cooperation and mutual respect within the group. The name TRIBE therefore represents our team values and commitment to one another as members of a company that have stuck together through many difficult times typical of this industry.
